16 Channel Laser Diode Mount from ILX Lightwave offers the following key spec's and features: These units are rack-mountable, 16-channel capacity high density laser diode heat sinks and mounts for butterfly packaged devices. Each channel is equipped with a convenient zero Insertion force (ZIF) socket, allowing easy insertion and removal. These units come with user-configurable pin-headers to allow multiple laser pin-outs, or hardwired pin-out versions are available. Each cahnnel supports control of internal TE coolers and offers user-specified, fiber-optic mating adapters for all 16 channels on the front panel, with fiber management spools for handling excess pig tailed fibers. These mounts incorporates convenient cable connections to ILX Lightwave laser diode drivers and controllers. The maximum input laser current and maximum TEC current are 3 Amps. Sockets are thermally connected to a finned heat sink, offering thermal resistance of 0.41 °C/W for natural convention and 0.17 °C/W for moving air. It comes in 3.38" x 18.97" x 23.9" overall size with 12.7 kg weight.
