The High Power QCW Laser Diode Driver has an adjustable dual 500A output or a single (parallel) 1000A output. The instrument has adjustable pulse width from 20 µs to 3 ms with an average power up to 1000W. The laser diode driver can support up to 100V forward laser diode voltage. The QCW laser diode driver also features all necessary protections to ensure the safety of the laser diodes (and driver) against overcurrent, overvoltage, short and open circuits, and over temperature. All the parameters are user-adjustable. The driver can be controlled via the front panel or by remote communication (I2C, SPI, CAN or optional Ethernet). An internal function generator allows the user to adjust pulse duration, repetition frequency, and can be operated in single shot. The laser diode driver can also be operated in external trigger mode.
