Diode pump solid state laser from Melles Griot. CW laser has a single transverse and longitudinal mode wit beam quality of M2<1.2. The all solid state laser was designed to be lightweight and compact and is a retrofit for krypton ion lasers with a drop in beam diameter of 0.67mm. For remote operation the laser has a RS-232 computer interface. Careful attention to design of hte laser allows for low noise operation with RMS noise less then 0.5% and peak to peak noise less then 3% over a frequency bandwidth of 20Hz to 2MHz. CW laser has output power up to 50 mW at a wavelength of 561 nm.
