940nm Laser Diode Stack from DILAS is a water cooled, horizontal diiode laser stack with up to 50Watts of optical output power. Key features of this device referenced on the attached data sheet, in addition to high output power, include the following: This 940nm device offers a compact size and up to 13 bars side-by-side. This device offers low thermal resistance as well as a flexible stack design. Also mentioned in the attached data sheet is that these horizontal stacks are designed to meet custom specifications. These devices are available in fast axis and slow axis collimated versions. These devices can be used in both continuous wave (CW) and quasi-CW (QCW) modes of operation. The following key specifications are noted on the data sheet. Power conversion is specified at an efficiency of greater than 50 percent. Threshold current is specified at less than 15 amps. Operating current is specified at less than 65 amps. Each bar has an operating voltage of less than 1.8 Volts. The operating range for these 940nm diode laser devices is specified at 20 degrees Celsisus to 30 degrees Celsius.
