Product Overview:
These TEC controllers with up to 120 Watts of Warming/Cooling are affordable laser diode digital temperature controllers. They heat and cool a laser diode without changing any jumpers. An advanced version of this controller with UART is available on request.
These 120 Watt laser diode temperature controllers have an collector output which allows them to be used as a signal for other devices. Additional LED diodes show heating or cooling activity on the board. The dimensions of the PCB are smaller and mounting holes have been added.
Its small size, simplicity of regulation and versatility make it widely used in many areas. It is dedicated to work with 12V Peltier modules, yet it works well with all modules whose supply voltage falls in the range of 7.5 V to 15 V.
UART can also be used to read the temperature set-point, actual temperature and PID parameters values.
Due to the possibility to set the parameters of a PID controller, the driver can be adapted to almost any system. Depending on the ambient temperature, these properly adjusted TEC controller is able to maintain the desired temperature with an accuracy of up to +- 0.05C.
