Product Overview:
AMI offers a line of CW laser diode drivers for both high current and low current applications including direct illumination and diode pumping. Their patented techniques allow these products to generate narrow, high-power pulses at high repetition rates and/or CW output in the smallest footprints available.
AMI has developed numerous diode driver designs in a variety of packages for easy integration into customer platforms. Diode driver products provide safety features such as over current/voltage protection, feedback current control, enable/inhibit, and dump circuit functions to prevent damage to laser diodes. AMI also offers a complete family of Laser Diode Drivers for commercial and military applications.
Most of the CW laser diode drivers AMI sells for OEM production are customized to meet the requirements of the end use.
One of AMI’s top products is the model 782. It is a single channel, non-isolated, compact CW laser diode driver with a power input of 10-30V nominal with MIL-STD-704E characteristics. The Output Current feature is adjustable from 0.2A to 4.0A with a Control Voltage from 0.0V to 0.5V. The model 782 can survive shocks up to 12g in any direction.
Connections via solderable post-type terminals. Unit to be delivered with PCB assembly mounted onto a heatsink.
