Product Overview:
These OsTech laser diode drivers / current sources offer up to 20 Amps and 6 Volts. They can operated in constant current or QCW mode, and include multiple protection features to make sure your high power device is operated safely.
This model includes a USB or RS-232 remote communication interface. Quasi-CW operation is possible with typical rise times of <25 µs. Faster rise and fall times of <5 µs are possible depending on the diode laser under test. Pulsed QCW operation of these drivers is controlled by an integrated pulse generator or by an external modulation signal.
These OsTech current source drivers are linear, very low noise and accurate, delivering the high stability current to the laser diode that it needs to operate for a particular application.
OsTech has been developing and manufacturing electronic control systems for laser diodes since 1998. They have developed OEM and benchtop laser current sources and controls for peltier coolers as well as cooler blocks. OsTech integrates also laser diodes of different manufacturers to complete turnkey light sources.
